Prenatal and Postpartum Physical Therapy

As mothers, we hold a special place in our hearts for women during all stages of the perinatal period. It has become our personal mission to elevate care during this transitional time. We believe that all women should be given the proper information and care needed during pregnancy and postpartum to ensure optimal health and recovery. We hope that prenatal and postpartum physical therapy will become standard care in the near future.

Although pelvic pain and incontinence may be common during and after pregnancy, they are NOT normal! Pelvic floor rehabilitation is much more than just a Kegel exercise. • Pelvic girdle pain: pubic symphysis dysfunction, sacroiliac pain, coccyx pain
  • Diastasis recti abdominis (DRA) rehabilitation and prevention
  • Pelvic floor dysfunction, strengthening, and prevention
  • Postpartum pain and weakness
  • Back and hip strengthening
  • Upper back and neck pain
  • Preparation for labor and delivery
  • Cesearian section scar pain and mobilization
  • Perineal scar/episiotomy scar pain and mobilization
